RELEVANT EXPERIENCES
I coordinated and acted as an interpreter for a visiting legal delegation from Australia in April 1997. This delegation was composed of a retired NSW Supreme Court Justice and several top legal experts from diversified law firms in Australia. The purpose of their visit to China was to exchange legal information with the judges of Henan Province. I helped organize and acted as a translator for a delegation of justices led by the Chief Justice of Henan Province for a reciprocal visit to Australia and New Zealand, with my participation in August 1997.

In April 1998, I coordinated and acted as a liaison officer to receive Mrs. Elena Espinosa delos Reyes, Director of Trade Development Division for Asia and Pacific, Mexico Bank for Foreign Trade; Mr. Federico Chavez, Commercial Commissioner, Trade Commission of Mexico, Hongkong and Macau in a meeting with Mr. Zhang Yixiang, Vice Governor of Henan Province.

In October, 2000, I coordinated and acted as translator for a cooperation program with Alexander & Hamilton Inc., a commercial collection corporation of United States. This program provides a new channel for Henan enterprises to collect their accounts payable.

On December 13, 2003 I was invited to be an interpreter for Mr Rory Holmes, President of Association of Nonwoven Fabrics Industry and Mr Ted Wirtz, former President, when they visited Henan to discuss cooperation possibilities with local industry.

I was assistant to legal advisor for Jiaozuo Wanfang Aluminum Stock Co Ltd (a listed company at Shenzhen Stock Exchange) in their JV share transferring negotiation with the foreign party American AES.

From September to November, 2003, I co-ordinated a team of lawyers to assist in the preparation of EPC contracts for a Sino-Korea joint venture — Kepco (Wuzhi) Power Company Limited.

In 2003 and 2004, I acted as an assistant in Beijing to Mrs Linda Braun, Managing Director and Chief Editor of Principals’ Digest Co. Ltd, Fulbright Scholar 1991, to edit and write the first English training books (Volume One: Essential English for Ministry of Commerce, Volume Two: Essential Knowledge for the Global Society ) for newly founded Ministry of Commerce (being published now by China Commerce and Trade Press). I was awarded the Certificate of Service by UNDP (United Nation Development Program) and CICETE (China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges).

In April 2004, I was invited by Mr Julian Long, Lead Partner, to visit New Zealand for work experience in a private commercial law firm – LeeSalmonlong for three weeks. I also spent time at Kensington Swan, one of the biggest five law firms in New Zealand, under the supervision of Lyn Lim, Partner.

From January to June 2005, as an intern of ACLA-Lovells Young Lawyer Training Program, I had an on-job-training at Lovells Beijing office for half a year. This experience is a lifetime benefit for my personal and professional development.
